Great hotel with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. I fondly remember my first stay when the staff helped with plug adaptors. Highly recommend asking for the delicious cookies at the desk!

Loved its exceptionally welcoming and well experienced staff.

100% recommend this place and would stay here again. Had a really really nice stay on our first visit that time. Everything was amazing, nevertheless a few employees were particularly busy.

All good - we appreciated this small hotel - the food was nice and the staff were really good. Updated rooms with curtain open, an unforgettable view of Melbourne and hairdryer, felt like home. Location: the property was close to two tram stations, the railroad station, and the shops and restaurants along the Yarra river, Southbank and Fed Square and many dining options. Furthermore, directly opposite Flinders Street station.

Who knew? Not me!

What a good surprise! The location is prime, just steps from the historic Flinders St station. The cozy King Room was an oasis of quiet amid the city buzz, and the staff were pretty good, especially in catering to early risers. Breakfast was excellent too. Definitely worth a stay!

Location

Rooms had old decor, not greatly furnished. I had paid for a more expensive "City view" room but was given a room on 2nd floor facing the street with a lot of noise even though I had specifically requested a high floor with little noise. I ended up paying for a City View room but having to get a room facing the rear of the hotel to avoid noise.

the setting was quite marvellous and brilliant within easy reach of a public square. the full cooked breakfast was exceptionally good and had a great selection of meals.

We didn't like the bed, it was a bit small.

The position of the accomodation was very central for travel by train or tram. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The meal we had through room service wasn't very appetizing. I was extremely dissappointed with the house salad. We reserved a twin room but ended up with a king.
